Aliya is an interdisciplinary artist, musician and graphic designer. Creating under the name BINT she uses sound, folk, and performance art to explore the perennial role of the artist-mystic in cultural preservation and liberation work. She has exhibited internationally, including commissions and collaborations with the likes of Black Sabbath, Joan La Barbara, Coachella and ISSUE Project Room. She has done branding and graphic design work for notable brands including Tiffany & Co., Axis Percussion and Vans.
